Three things that determine your severance payment.
- 3-week deadline: After the termination reaches you, you have only 3 weeks to act against it. After that it usually becomes effective.
- Rule of thumb: Half a gross monthly salary per year of employment. With good negotiation, significantly more is often possible.
- Dismissal protection: In companies with more than 10 employees, the Protection Against Dismissal Act (KSchG) applies after 6 months. That is your leverage.

Purely success-based: if we succeed, we receive 29% of the severance payment (incl. VAT), capped at €6,000. If we do not succeed, you pay nothing. We cover lawyer and court costs. With legal expenses insurance, your insurer covers the costs.
